Task:
- As part of the One Team concept, you contribute to the overall tasks of the relevant embassies, consulates and NBSOs.
- As Director of Germany and Central Europe, you are responsible for identifying and supporting companies that can further strengthen the Dutch economy through settlements or follow-on investments.
- Based on the strategic priorities communicated to you by our industry teams, it examines which areas of expertise have opportunities for potential investment projects in the Netherlands. They accompany and advise these companies in their search for the most suitable location in the Netherlands.
- As part of our investor relations program, you will be responsible for following up with companies already present in the Netherlands; also to collect signals related to the investment climate and to recruit expansion investments
- In addition, you are responsible for establishing and maintaining relevant networks in Germany and Central Europe.

Prerequisites:
- You have completed an academic education, preferably with an economic component, economics or business .administration
- You have general knowledge of the Dutch economy and the Dutch investment climate.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant international professional experience in advertising, sales or acquisition.
- Some management experience is required.
- You have experience with companies in Germany and preferably have an appropriate network.
- You are fluent in written and spoken Dutch, German and English; You are diplomatic and can communicate at the highest levels, both within government and in the private sector.
- You have a flexible attitude and organizational skills.
- Desired competencies: collaboration, results orientation, integrity, sensitivity to management issues, networking and motivational skills.
Type of Position: The Consulate General offers an annual contract (12 months, subject to a two-month probationary period) with a weekly working time of 38.25 hours (working week from Monday to Friday) and flexibility in terms of working hours and location.
Salary: The starting salary is between EUR 5,378 and EUR 8,066 gross per month/level 9, depending on the number of years of relevant professional experience.
